Logging Into Your Site

For added security, Site Creator no longer includes a link to the login page in the footer of your site by default. We added some new features in SSC 2.0 that provide you more control over your login page and how it's accessed.

Accessing Your Default Login Page

After your site is created, you can access the login page at http://silostock.com/replace_me/login where replace_me is the domain you entered when you initially setup your site.

Alternatively, if you've pointed your domain name to your new site, you can access the default login page at http://replace_me/login where replace_me is your registered domain name.

Renaming Your Login Page

For increased security, you may now rename your login page to something less obvious. Just remember to write down the new name so you can find it! Learn how to rename a webpage in the SSC Dashboard.

Adding Login Fields to Template

Also new to SSC 2.0, is the ability to add login fields to a template via a variable. When editing a page template, choose form_login from the Insert Variable box to place your login fields wherever you want on a page or group of pages.
